Responsibilities
Schedules appointments for consumers to meet with advocates.Handles the Information and Referral process.Manages the agency’s lobby area. Greets and guides all visitors, including vendors, consumers and job candidates.Ensures completion of paperwork, sign-in and security procedures.Handles special administrative projects for the Regional Director.Answers and transfers all incoming voice, videophone, and TTY calls.Performs clerical duties, including but not limited to delegating and responding to emails in addition to other light office duties as needed.Enters consumer statistics into computer database.Assists with managing social media for the office including creating flyers for workshops and events, managing monthly e-news emails to distribute, and keeping up to date with posting on social media.Performs such tasks and responsibilities as may be delegated.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ clerical/office experience.Fluency in American Sign Language required and Spanish strongly preferred.Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Experience with Canva, video editing, graphic design, and managing social media is preferred.Must possess the ability to relate and be sensitive to deaf persons with varied communication skills and language levels, and be able to work with a diverse, multi-ethnic population.Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to perform professionally. Punctuality and reliability are a must.Must maintain a cooperative relationship with co-employees, directors, and the CEO.As business needs require, employee’s schedule may be adjusted to allow for coverage at Deaf Expos and other deaf outreach events that occur on weekends.Must have reliable transportation and maintain up-to-date auto insurance.Note:

Salary Range: $29.46-$29.99 per hour ($61,276.80-$62,379.20 per year)
