Senra Systems emphasizes configuring manufacturing processes to accelerate harness production. The role focuses on defining end-to-end processes, aligning Product and Software to encode standards, and delivering scalable, repeatable operations that reduce tribal knowledge and dependence on individual leaders.

This role is approximately 70% Operations-focused and 30% Product/Software-focused. You will collaborate with leaders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Inventory, Programs, and Production Planning to improve how the business operates while ensuring internal software supports those processes.

This is a forward-deployed, prescriptive role measured by the quality and adoption of processes, regulatory compliance, and measurable operational improvements. You will encode standards into software to make the right way the default.

Success in this role means eliminating tribal knowledge, improving process standardization, accelerating software implementation, and driving measurable improvements in operations.

Responsibilities

Process Ownership & Improvement

  • Develop deep understanding of Senra’s end-to-end operational workflows, including Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Inventory, Planning, Programs, and Estimating.
  • Design future-state processes that unlock scalability across functions, balancing rigor with flexibility and clarity so all teams follow a common playbook.
  • Maintain and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, business rules, and operating procedures to ensure adoption and alignment with how the business actually runs.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process gaps and drive structured improvement initiatives.

Product & Software Partnership

  • Serve as the primary Operations point of contact for Product Managers and Software Engineers.
  • Translate operational needs into user stories, requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with software teams to ensure solutions reflect real operational workflows.
  • Prioritize software enhancements based on operational impact and business value.

Implementation & Change Management

  • Own UAT, conference room pilots, and operational validation activities.
  • Develop rollout plans, training materials, and implementation strategies for new processes and software capabilities.
  • Facilitate training sessions and drive adoption across operational teams.
  • Measure and report on improvements from process and system changes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineer.
  • Proven experience designing, documenting, and implementing operational processes in a fast-paced hardware manufacturing environment.
  • Expert-level understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Subject matter expertise in at least three of the following:
    Estimating or Customer Program Management, Procurement, Material Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Production Operations, Quality.
  • Experience writing SOPs, business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
  • Deep experience with process documentation standards: SOPs, value stream mapping, process flow diagrams, RACI, and current-state/future-state analysis.
  • Experience leading UAT, software implementations, and operational rollouts.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to collaborate across roles and leadership levels and drive solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace, electronics, or other high-mix manufacturing experience.
  • Startup or high-growth manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP, MES, MRP, PLM, or internally developed software platforms.
  • Formal training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.
What Success Looks Like
  • Establishes and maintains scalable operational processes across key functions; acts as the process POC for Senra’s Operations team.
  • Becomes the primary liaison between Operations and Product/Software teams.
  • Reduces dependency on department leaders for software requirement gathering and process documentation.
  • Leads UAT, implementation, and adoption of new software capabilities.
  • Delivers measurable improvements in operational efficiency, visibility, standardization, and execution.
Compensation
  • Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
  • Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000
  • Onsite role at our facility in Cypress, CA.
