Computer Information Systems (Cyber) Instructor Pool – Part Time

We are now accepting applications for a part‑time Computer Information Systems (Cyber) Instructor at Cypress College. This position is part of a continuous recruitment to fill part‑time and temporary faculty assignments on an as‑needed basis.

• Pay Rate: $1,572.67 – $1,725.85 per lecture unit or lab parity unit; $1,258.16 – $1,380.60 per lab unit.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
• OR Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience.
• OR a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject area.
• OR equivalent qualifications as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in networks, network security and/or Cisco systems.
• Relevant Computer Information Systems industry certificates.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction for disproportionately impacted student populations.
