Graphic Arts Instructor Pool-Part-Time
Position in the Visual and Performing Arts Department, part-time, with flexible employment schedule. This position is part of a continuous recruitment pool and may be filled as needed.

Salary Range: $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lecture unit rate; $1258.16 – $1380.60 per lab unit rate.
Salary Schedule Information: Column 1 – Column 3 (depending on education).
Job DescriptionMay be asked to teach days, evenings, hybrid/online, and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campus-based training.
Special RequirementsAll degrees must be verified on a legible transcript; grade cards not accepted. Foreign degrees require evaluation. All coursework must come from accredited postsecondary institutions.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher AND at least two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- Associate degree AND at least six years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- Valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
- Commitment to diversity and demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds.
- Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups, nontraditional students, speakers of other languages, and students with learning disabilities.
