Primary PurposeProvide instruction in Computer Information Systems (Cyber) to students at Cypress College. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs.
Special Requirements- All degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. (Grade cards are not accepted.)
- All degrees and coursework used to satisfy required minimum qualifications must be from accredited postsecondary institutions.
- Evaluation of foreign degrees and/or coursework is required.
- Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- Any Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
- Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
- Equivalent qualifications that may include related education, training, employment and professional experience equal to the required degree(s) and experience as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

- Experience in networks, network security and/or Cisco systems.
- Possession of relevant Computer Information Systems industry certificates.
- Commitment to examine, reflect, and modify instructional, relational, and classroom practices in order to effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with the goal of closing equity gaps.
Per lecture unit rate: $1572.67 - $1725.85; per lab parity unit rate: $1572.67 - $1725.85; per lab unit rate: $1258.16 - $1380.60.
