Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s in dance, physical education with a dance emphasis, ortheater with dance emphasis,

OR

Bachelor’s in any of the above

AND Master’s in physical education, any life science, physiology,theater arts, kinesiology, humanities, performing arts ormusic

OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizingservice in a community college in the appropriate subject matterarea;

OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience thatwould be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in thisfield as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

Salary Range: $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate,$1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60per lab unit rate

Summary:

This recruitment will remain active for a period of oneyear, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a needto fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified.

This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fillarises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.
