A technology company in California is seeking a mid-level electromechanical engineer to join their Magnetic Bearing Technology group. Primary responsibilities include the design and analysis of electromagnetic actuators and sensors, development of new actuator topologies, and troubleshooting existing systems. Candidates should possess a Masters or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a solid understanding of electromechanical design, and familiarity with MATLAB and engineering software.

The role requires strong teamwork and leadership skills and is exclusively on-site with up to 20% travel required.
