About the OpportunityAs a Senior Integration & Test Engineer (Level IV/V), you will play a lead role in advancing space‑based infrared (IR) imaging systems by driving end‑to‑end test strategy, execution, and system characterization. You’ll work at the intersection of optical, electrical, and software domains, leading technical teams and collaborating directly with customers to deliver high‑performance solutions for aerospace missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys combining hands‑on testing with technical leadership and strategic impact.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, including requirements definition, test plans, and detailed procedures
- Perform imaging system testing and characterization, including optical, spectral, and performance measurements
- Execute testing in lab and cleanroom environments, diagnosing and resolving issues across electrical, software, and optical systems
- Analyze and process image and spectral data, delivering clear, accurate reports and insights
- Develop and maintain MATLAB scripts to automate data analysis and improve testing efficiency
- Lead AI&T activities and technical teams, supporting task planning, prioritization, and successful program execution
- Interface directly with customers, delivering technical presentations, status updates, and supporting proposal development, cost estimates, and growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or systems engineering
- Minimum 8 years of test experience in space and/or aerospace
- Minimum 8 years of experience with IR technology
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or systems engineering
- 10+ years of test experience in space and/or aerospace
- Experience and understanding of DOD and aerospace test processes
- Ability to secure a Security Clearance
- Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed
- Understanding of Imaging System Testing, Characterization, and Image Data Processing
- Experience with optical measurements
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen

- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
