About the Opportunity
:
Join a leading Defense & Space Manufacturing organization developing high-reliability electronic systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and integration of mixed‑signal and analog circuitry supporting advanced aerospace and defense technologies.
What You'll Do
:
- Define, architect, design, implement, and integrate mixed‑signal and analog circuits for high-reliability electronics
- Develop low-noise analog circuits and quiet power supplies for imaging sensors
- Perform schematic capture and oversee PCB layout activities (Cadence Allegro preferred)
- Conduct circuit-level and board-level simulations to verify functionality and performance
- Debug and integrate hardware using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other laboratory equipment
- Create technical documentation including board specifications, user guides, test reports, and design review presentations
- Provide regular project status updates and technical reporting
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule while meeting technical requirements
- Evaluate and specify supplier components, subsystems, and engineering services
- Support organizational mission, values, and culture
- Participate in engineering, customer, and business meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in mixed-signal and analog circuit analysis and design (including Space – DoD or Commercial experience)
- Minimum 10 years of experience completing mixed-signal and analog designs, using ICs such as Op-Amps, ADC, DAC, LDO, switching regulators, and motor drivers
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing and troubleshooting high-speed video applications
What Sets You Apart
:
- An active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Minimum 15 years of experience working in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in analog circuit design
- Proficient in the design and analysis of electronics for space applications
- Hands‑on experience in EO/IR technology and cryogenic systems
- Familiarity with DoD, NASA, and relevant industry standards
- Ability to solve problems at circuit and system levels
- Ability to execute large group and customer presentations
