We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and support planning, procurement, materials, and related functions to ensure demand, supply, capacity, and inventory plans are aligned with operational needs. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and leadership to improve material availability, reduce risk, and support a disciplined, data-driven supply chain organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage supply chain activities, materials management, purchasing, inventory control, supplier coordination, logistics, and related functions.
  • Support and execute supply chain strategies that improve on-time delivery, inventory turns, material availability, cost performance, lead times, and operational responsiveness.
  • Ensure material plans, purchase orders, supplier commitments, inventory levels, and production schedules are aligned with customer requirements and business priorities.
  • Monitor supplier performance, support supplier development, assist with sourcing activities, support contract requirements, identify cost reduction opportunities, and help mitigate supply risks.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to support new product introduction, production readiness, customer delivery, and capacity planning.
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to supplier delivery, material availability, purchase price variance, inventory accuracy, excess and obsolete inventory, planning adherence, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, ERP/MRP utilization, procurement processes, supplier communication, and cross-functional execution.
  • Support departmental budgets, staffing plans, procedures, training, and organizational capabilities to improve supply chain performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, customer requirements, trade compliance expectations, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and communicate supply chain performance updates, risks, recovery plans, inventory status, supplier issues, and improvement initiatives to management.
Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain, planning, procurement, materials, or operations experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
  • Experience managing production planning, materials management, purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory control, logistics, or S&OP support activities.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, electronics, precision machinery, or other complex engineered-product environments preferred.
  • Experience improving planning, purchasing, supplier coordination, inventory control, and material flow processes.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable manufacturing quality standards preferred.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause corrective action, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Ability to analyze data, translate business requirements into supply plans, and communicate risks and recommendations clearly to management.
  • Strong supplier relationship management, organizational, financial, communication, and leadership skills.
