Supply Chain Manager
Location: Cypress, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain for advanced machinery and electromechanical systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of high-quality components, supporting efficient production, and coordinating seamlessly with engineering, manufacturing, and external suppliers.
The ideal candidate combines strategic sourcing expertise with hands‑on operational leadership in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all supply chain activities, including sourcing, procurement, production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical manufactured components, including motors, magnetic bearings, power electronics, and other precision parts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency and supply reliability.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product development and production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, quality issues, and supplier disruptions.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance production requirements, availability, and cost.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a manufacturing or engineering-focused environment.
- Experience supporting aerospace, energy, industrial manufacturing, or other high‑tech manufacturing industries.
- Experience sourcing high‑precision or electromechanical components is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams in a fast‑paced environment.
