Electromechanical Assembly Technician
We are seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician to expertly assemble high-speed turbo motors, generators, and turbo machinery equipment. You will perform sub-assembly and full system-level testing in accordance with applicable drawings, schematics, and specifications for the Aerospace Defense Industry. This role operates on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.
Responsibilities- Assemble high precision coil windings, sensors, and electric motor components and sub-assemblies.
- Perform soldering of fine wiring.
- Encapsulate electrical assemblies.
- Follow blueprints, routers, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, process routers, and work instructions.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use fine precision tools, fixtures, and testing apparatus.
- J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in assembling electrical parts within a production environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with prototype, engineering, and production type hardware using sketches and verbal instructions or notes.

Work EnvironmentThe role is situated in a medium manufacturing environment with approximately 120 employees. You will be working specifically in the mechanical assembly department alongside 20 others. Depending on the assembly line, you may be sitting or standing. Please note the presence of glue smells and the requirement for steel-toed safety shoes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
