Primary Colors is seeking a talented Wood Shop Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. We offer comprehensive training and excellent benefits. We're looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and experience in large format finishing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and Interpret Plans: Accurately understand build instructions, drawings, and renderings to ensure production meets specifications.
  • Woodworking Expertise: Possess at least 3 years of experience in wood preparation, carpentry, staining, and painting.
  • Proficient Tool Use: Be skilled in operating shop tools such as table saws, miter saws, band saws, drill presses, sanders, and more.
  • Metalworking

    Skills:

    A plus if you have experience working with metal materials.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintenance: Follow daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules for equipment.
  • Versatility: Willingness to cross-train in other departments.
  • Team Player: Enjoy working collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Be prepared for an active role that involves heavy lifting, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in wood preparation, carpentry, staining, and painting.
  • Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day
  • Overtime availability required
