Position OverviewThe Fire/Life Safety Service Sales Manager is responsible for promoting Siemens' market position in delivering smart building technology for Fire Alarm and Security Services. This role involves leading a team, developing sales strategies, and fostering long-term customer relationships to transform buildings into digitally connected and controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities- Promote team selling and expand relationships across divisions and regions.
- Support sales processes through all phases, including bid review and project implementation.
- Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and develop skills.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, including market opportunity identification and long-range planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and customers at the executive level.
- Drive digitalization strategies, remote services, and data analytics initiatives.
- Travel approximately 10% overnight for training and business development.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years of sales experience in a related industry
- Technical proficiency in Fire Alarm/Fire Life Safety systems
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
- Management experience in construction
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
- NICET Level II Certification or higher in Fire
