The Account Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cypress, CA. The Account Executive will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, bookings, and shipment updates. Daily responsibilities include preparing and following up on quotes, coordinating closely with operations and documentation teams, tracking shipments, and resolving service issues in a timely manner.
The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing accurate information on pricing, schedules, and service options. The Account Executive will also maintain records in CRM or internal systems, prepare regular reports on account activity, and contribute to continuous improvement of customer service processes.
- Experience in account management, customer service, or sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including managing multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Comfort with using office productivity tools and CRM or ERP systems to track and report account activity.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions and pricing options.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, quotations, and shipment information.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with operations, documentation, and finance teams on‑site.
- Prior experience in international shipping or trade is highly beneficial; understanding of Incoterms and basic logistics concepts is a plus.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Eligibility to work on‑site in Cypress, CA, and willingness to work standard full‑time business hours.
