Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Small Business Account Manager to join a team. This role is a key position within a organization, responsible for managing a high-volume book of generalist small business accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quoting new and renewal business, familiarity with online raters, and the ability to handle a diverse portfolio of accounts, including BOPs, contractors, hospitality, and retail.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually
  • Benefits:
    Comprehensive benefits package available
Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business valued at $2M-$2.5M, with account sizes ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.
  • Quote and process new and renewal business using online raters such as Travelers, Hartford, and Liberty Mutual.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients across various industries, including contractors, hospitality, and retail.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using EPIC software.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
  • Stay organized and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Licenses/Designations:
    Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven ability to handle a high-volume book of business.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in EPIC software and online raters (Travelers, Hartford, Liberty Mutual, etc.).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Personable and able to build strong client relationships.
    • Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Arrangement:
    Hybrid role, with two days per week in the office.
