Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and observe visitor traffic to help to deter disturbances, trespassing, and/or damage to property or exhibits;
Support a professional atmosphere at a cultural institution location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders when needed
