Vin Motion USA is seeking an AI Motion Engineer to develop AI‑driven motion control systems for humanoid robots. This role focuses on designing and implementing reinforcement learning, whole‑body control, optimal control, and AI‑powered motion planning techniques to enhance robotic agility, balance, and dexterity.

Key Responsibilities AI Development & Motion Control
  • Design and implement Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Imitation Learning models for real‑time motion adaptation.
  • Develop and optimize Whole‑Body Control (WBC), Model Predictive Control (MPC), and Motion Planning algorithms for dynamic locomotion.
  • Apply Deep Reinforcement Learning (PPO, SAC, DDPG) to robotic movement and trajectory optimization.
  • Utilize Sim2

    Real techniques to improve AI model transferability from simulation to real‑world deployment.
  • Enhance collision avoidance, force control, and torque‑based control using AI‑powered predictive models.
Software Development & System Integration
  • Implement AI motion algorithms in real‑time robotics systems.
  • Optimize AI models for low‑latency execution on edge computing devices.
  • Work with robotics frameworks such as ROS, Mujoco, Gazebo, and Isaac Gym to develop and test motion control strategies.
  • Collaborate with software, control, and hardware teams to ensure seamless AI integration into robotic platforms.
Testing & Performance Optimization
  • Conduct simulations and real‑world testing to refine AI‑based motion control systems.
  • Improve model accuracy, efficiency, and robustness through iterative development.
  • Analyze system performance and implement improvements for energy‑efficient, real‑time motion execution.
Qualifications & Experience Education
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in AI, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in AI development, robotics, or motion control.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing AI‑driven motion control for robotic systems.
  • Strong understanding of robot kinematics, sensor fusion, and human‑like motion generation.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, Tensor Flow, PyTorch.
  • Experience with Reinforcement Learning (RL), Model Predictive Control (MPC), Whole‑Body Control (WBC), and Imitation Learning.
  • Familiarity with robotics simulation frameworks such as ROS, Mujoco, Gazebo, Isaac Gym.
  • Knowledge of edge AI optimization for real‑time applications is a plus.
