Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing and dynamic multi-entity construction organization. This role will oversee high-volume accounting operations across multiple divisions and report directly to the Controller.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements across divisions
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes
• Drive budgeting and forecasting efforts across construction projects and business units
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes
• Identify and implement process improvements and system efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, including tax filings

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Prior experience in construction or job cost accounting
• Strong experience with multi‑entity accounting and high transaction volume
• Knowledge of financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls
• Experience with Jonas Premier and/or Smart
  
  UI strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
