AP Clerk

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk role based in Cypress, TX. The AP Clerk will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, and verifying pricing and quantities for equipment rentals and related services. Daily tasks include entering invoices into accounting software, coding expenses to the correct accounts, and preparing checks for payments. The AP Clerk will communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, track payment statuses, and maintain accurate and organized AP records.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Accounting and basic Finance principles relevant to accounts payable.
• Proficiency with Accounting Software and comfort working with spreadsheets and data entry tools.
• Hands-on experience with Invoicing, including matching, coding, and processing vendor invoices.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Cypress, TX, and collaborate effectively with a local team.
• Previous experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting is preferred.
