Collections Specialist

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Collections Specialist I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances.

• Collections via phone, text, email, or other company-approved means.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
• Meet or exceed monthly collection goals
• Process, record, and apply incoming payments
• Assist with billing and invoicing functions
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve customer disputes
• Handling customer inquiries
• Other duties as assigned

• Some college education required
  , accounting or finance major is a plus
• At least one year of collection experience
• Intermediate skills in Excel, including VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables
