JOB DESCRIPTION

Municipal Operations and Consulting, Inc. is seeking to fill a position in the Backflow Prevention Administration Department. This assignment is in Cypress, Texas 77433.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and file backflow test records into software
  • Maintain and update test records and devise history within software
  • File paper copies of backflow reports
  • Assisting customer and tester questions via email and phone calls
  • Schedule backflow force testing as needed
  • Back charge customers for force testing and turn-offs as needed
  • Create POs and tasks for backflow and miscellaneous related work orders
  • Special projects requiring extrapolation of data regarding usage in districts as needed
  • Using billing, work order, and backflow software to pull information from
  • Collect and prepare backflow reports for TCEQ audits
  • Preparing and mail out compliance letters
  • Generate, prepare and print documents in advance of monthly meetings

Additional Requirements

  • Full-time position: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Must be available to work in-office during emergency response hours (extreme weather or emergency events).
