In this role, you'll work closely under the supervision of a licensed SLP, implementing therapy activities, tracking student progress, and facilitating meaningful outcomes for students with diverse speech and language needs.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Texas
• Prior experience in a school-based environment highly preferred
• Strong understanding of child development and speech-language interventions
• Ability to create a supportive, engaging atmosphere for students ages PreK-12
• Skilled in documentation and progress monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads and scheduling

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed by the supervising SLP
• Conduct group and one-on-one activities to target student speech and language goals
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student performance and therapy outcomes
• Adapt therapy materials for varying student needs
• Participate in school meetings and professional development as required
