In this itinerant position, you will collaborate with school teams and ARD Specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students' educational needs.

Key qualifications:

• Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification
• Demonstrated experience working as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas public schools, ideally for several years
• In-depth knowledge of ARDs, evaluations, and state/federal special education regulations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside campus staff and families
• Willingness to obtain district background clearance, including fingerprinting, prior to start date

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for elementary students to identify unique learning needs
• Participate in ARD meetings, contributing expertise for eligibility determinations, programming, and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, administrators, and parents to design and implement effective interventions and accommodations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold strict compliance with state and district procedures
• Travel between assigned campuses to provide services where needed most, supporting equitable access for all students
