Overview

Make a real impact supporting students in the Cypress area as a contract School Psychologist. Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to identify needs, design effective interventions, and foster inclusive environments.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (required)
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education law, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state/federal regulations
  • Flexibility, organization, and time management skills to adapt to evolving caseloads and school schedules
Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Provide counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis support to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to discussions about student needs and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all legal and ethical standards
  • Deliver professional development or guidance to staff on relevant topics such as mental health and behavioral interventions
