Job Title

The Community of Communes Plaines et Monts de France is recruiting a full-time educator for its intercommunal nursery school "Les Petits Loups" (10 cribs) located in Messy.

The educator of young children must ensure that the child is welcomed in a safe and supportive environment conducive to their psychomotor, emotional, and intellectual development, while establishing a climate of trust and dialogue within the team and with families. To this end, he/she coordinates, in liaison with the management team, the organization of sections and activities derived from the educational and pedagogical project, of which he/she is the guarantor of implementation in the sections in transversality with the entire multidisciplinary team.

Main duties:

• Ensure quality care for the child and their family
• Welcome children and their families on a daily basis
• Promote the development and well-being of the child according to the needs identified by the multidisciplinary team
• Ensure the flourishing and integration of each child within the group
• Ensure the adaptation of a space to the needs of the children received in relation to their age and development

Animate the team life of the establishment

• Ensure the proper functioning of the sections through the management of the planning, the educational budget, the holding of regular meetings, the prevention and management of conflicts
• Coordinate the organization of pedagogical activities of the sections
• Ensure professional cohesion around the educational and pedagogical project, in liaison with the other sections and the entire multidisciplinary team
• Dynamize the team in the different projects, encourage and value the individual skills and the exchange of know-how between colleagues of the section and between sections

Contribute to the life of the establishment

• Ensure a close and regular relay between the team and the management
• Participate in the reflection and evolution of the educational project and the pedagogical project
• Participate in the reception and supervision of trainees and/or apprentices in collaboration with the rest of the multidisciplinary team

Contribute to the partnership

• Collaborate with the different external partners and facilitate their involvement within the establishment as well as in the daily life of the child
• Promote the development of a quality welcome within the community through exchanges with other educators of young children and other intercommunal services

Profile sought:

• Holder of the State Diploma of Educator of Young Children and driver's license B
• Experience desired in a territorial community in similar functions
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety measures provided by the approval and legislation concerning the territorial communities
• Ability to identify the needs of each child and to show benevolence and capacity for detachment
• Dynamic, attentive, sense of responsibility and teamwork and ability to show pedagogy
• Public service sense, professional discretion, and absolute respect for confidentiality

Conditions:

• Full-time position 38 hours (25 CA + 18 JRTT) - Monthly and annual bonus

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the territorial public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
