Technical Specialist II or III

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Performs moderately sophisticated technical assignments that ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance and pipeline operations support.
• Participates in project planning and collaborates with company partners to guarantee accurate and available data.
• Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience, or associate’s degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in oil & gas industry.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty.
• Additional (Technical Specialist II):
  
  Required:
  
  High school diploma/GED or associate’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in oil & gas industry;
  Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in field operations or other technical specialty.

• Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces.
• Carry or lift items up to 50lbs and team lift loads of more than 50lbs as needed.
• Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time.
• Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Use hand tools.

• Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises.
• May be required to work overtime, 10–12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays.

• Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.
