Position Title
Phlebotomist II

Work ScheduleMon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm

Position SummaryDrawing blood and processing. 2 years of Phlebotomy experience. Age ranges 21-90 years.
Key Responsibilities- Drawing blood from patients (adults and geriatrics)
- Processing specimens
- Providing customer service in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment
- Standing for most of the shift
- Interfacing with internal team members and external patients
- Minimum 2 years of Phlebotomy experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer Service skills
- Flexibility
- Computer skills
- Phlebotomy Skills
- Color vision required
- Vaccines:
Hep B (candidate can decline), TB required
Most of the shift standing. Patient Service Center environment with several providers. Team of 2-3 people. Daily draws: 30-60 on busy days. First two weeks orientation and field training (initially at Main lab 7207 N Gessner Road Houston TX, then work location).
