Qualifications &

Experience:

• Active state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), required
• Previous experience in school‑based settings strongly preferred
• Proficient in sign language and able to communicate effectively with students using ASL
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with diverse student populations
• Comfortable splitting time between middle and high school environments
• Organized, adaptable, and able to manage a dynamic caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising Speech‑Language Pathologist
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet student IEP goals with inclusion of sign language as needed
• Document progress and assist in preparing materials for therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with faculty and families to support student development
• Travel between two assigned campuses as part of a balanced weekly schedule
• Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and district guidelines
