SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITYThe Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluations and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth through evidence-based interventions. The SLP collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized treatment plans, contributes to IEP development, monitors progress, and delivers direct therapy services.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program).
- Valid Texas SLP license; CCC-SLP (ASHA) preferred.
- State SLP Licensure (Texas License required)
- 1-2 years of school-based experience preferred.
- Skilled in evaluations, IEPs, therapy planning, and progress monitoring.
- Develop and deliver therapy plans (individual and group) using evidence-based practices.
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health and special education.
