EEG Technician III

Role:

EEG Technician responsible for performing electroencephalograph (EEG) and neurodiagnostic exams under physician orders, supervised by the department manager.

• Receiving and documenting physician orders, scheduling patients, obtaining medical history, and completing documentation.
• Preparing patients, explaining procedures, measuring electrode sites, applying electrodes, and making adjustments.
• Performing advanced neurodiagnostic tests, maintaining equipment, and making minor adjustments.
• Potentially scheduling staff, assisting the manager, and performing entry-level supervisory tasks.
• Ensuring safety and adherence to policies, managing supplies, and maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Supporting professional growth through continuing education, serving as a mentor, and fostering team development.
• Providing compassionate, personalized care, and modeling service standards to ensure safe, caring, and efficient patient experiences.

• Associate's degree preferred; minimum three years related experience with an accredited neurodiagnostic program or five years' experience without degree.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Eligible to take the National Registry exam.
