Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a motivated, organized, and tech-savvy Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team. This role supports our hiring goals by identifying, engaging, and screening qualified professionals for opportunities with the school districts and charter schools we serve.
This is a great opportunity for someone with professional work experience who wants to develop their skills and grow in recruiting and talent acquisition. We provide established processes, tools, and training while expecting strong initiative, follow-through, and accountability.
What You'll Do1. Job Posting & Recruiting Administration- Post and maintain job openings across approved recruiting channels
- Schedule interviews, check references, and support recruiting administration
- Keep job postings accurate and current
- Identify and engage active and passive candidates
- Use job boards, Linked In, social media, databases, and other sourcing tools
- Build pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Conduct initial phone screenings
- Assess qualifications, communication, availability, and position fit
- Document clear screening notes and recommendations
- Support recruiting-focused social media content
- Assist with email and text recruiting campaigns
- Reengage previous candidates and prospective hires
- Maintain accurate candidate information in Bullhorn and other recruiting systems
- Track candidate communication, status, follow-up, and next steps
- Help ensure candidates move through the process efficiently and receive a professional, responsive experience
- At least 2 years of professional work experience preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
- Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals
- Ability to build professional relationships and communicate confidently
- Recruiting, sales, business development, education, healthcare, or staffing experience is a plus
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Standard Office
Hours:
8:00 a.m.
-4:30 p.m.
Location: Cypress, Texas
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Schedule, must be able to commute to Cypress several days per week
