Part-time temporary position with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.

: $15.00 per hour.

• Remove trash from assigned areas and dispose in compliance with approved guidelines.
• Clean all areas of the building including meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets as directed.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, refinish and buff hard surface floors as directed.
• Assist in the set up and tear down of furniture for all special events and meetings (chairs, tables, carts, staging).
• Work under the direction of an assigned project supervisor.
• Move furniture or equipment within the building as directed.
• Move, unpack, and stock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisors.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

• Ability to work unique hours – days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well with diverse employee groups.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to lift and carry loads approximately 75 lbs.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, lift, carry, work outside and indoors, on uneven surfaces, ladders, in hot/cold temperatures, dust, and cleaning chemicals.

Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and heavy lifting (~75 lbs). Work outside and inside on uneven surfaces and ladders. Exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals, and materials. Tools/Eq: buffer, stripper, wet/dry vacuum cleaner, electric drill, hand tools.

Part-time temporary assignment. Length depends on project needs.
