Job Description
CNC LATHE MACHINIST Monday - Thursday, some Fridays and Saturdays overtime 6:00 am
-4:30 pm $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Operate CNC lathe machines that run automatically using pre-programmed computer controls
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from the CNC lathe
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are produced according to specifications
- Perform basic inspections of finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Identify and report machine malfunctions, tool wear, or quality issues to supervisors
- Make minor adjustments or offsets as instructed to maintain part quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality procedures
- Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines preferred
- Ability to understand basic CNC machine operation and automated processes
- Experience reading basic blueprints, work orders, or job travelers is a plus
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
