Skilled - CNC Machinist; Lathe

Position Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Wage: $25.00 - $29.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with lathe experience to join a fast‑paced, high‑production manufacturing environment in Cypress, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated, hands‑on individual who is comfortable operating multiple machines while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

• Operate CNC lathes in a production environment
• Run multiple machines simultaneously (not a one‑operator/one‑machine setup)
• Load and unload parts from machines and workstations
• Perform in‑process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
• Move throughout the shop floor to monitor machines and workflow

• Experience operating CNC machines, with a focus on lathes
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Dependable, motivated, and able to meet production demands
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience working in automated or high‑efficiency machining environments preferred
• Experience with composite materials; fiberglass a plus
