Position Title:

Frac Plug Assembler

Wage: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday). First month or two on first shift before transition.

Location:

Cypress, TX 77433.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble composite frac plugs according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Inspect components for defects, damage, and dimensional accuracy before assembly.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and measuring instruments during the assembly process.
  • Perform quality checks on assembled products.
  • Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials, equipment issues, or process deviations.
  • Assist with inventory control, material handling, and organization of work areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, oilfield equipment, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical documents.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and industrial equipment.
  • Mechanical assembly experience desired.
  • Knowledge of oilfield completion tools and hydraulic fracturing equipment is a plus.
  • Quality control and inspection experience preferred.
  • Forklift or material handling experience (optional).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for extended periods, repetitive hand movements, lifting up to 25 pounds, working in a manufacturing environment following safety procedures and wearing required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots.
