Job Description Purpose and Scope

The Coordinator III, Enrollment Communications, is primarily responsible for the coordination of all enrollment management student communications. The position serves as the lead for all enrollment management communications and collaborates with multiple departments across Lone Star College-CyFair to facilitate successful persistence and retention efforts. This position reports to the Vice President of Student Success.

Essential Job Functions
  • Creates and monitors the day‑to‑day and some long‑term operations of communication tools including but not limited to records maintenance, queries, campaigns, ad‑hoc emails, forms, events, data imports and exports.
  • Creates and deploys recruitment communications in multiple modalities, including email, text, direct mail, social media, and web.
  • Works collaboratively with others across the college in coordinating methods of marketing student programs, events, and activities that support enrollment management.
  • Provides communications support and training to team members across Lone Star College by managing user accounts, communications enhancements, and configurations as necessary.
  • Executes content strategies that are aligned with LSC brand standards. Participates in creative copy and design decisions, to include print, lead nurturing email campaigns, and web content.
  • In conjunction with colleagues and supervisors, identifies gaps or areas of opportunity within the student journey and available market research. Executes action plans to address these areas by setting engagement goals and establishing key performance indicators.
  • Stays current on best practices, tools, and emerging trends related to developments in marketing strategy, content development, and audience engagement from within and outside the higher education industry.
  • Handles various software processes, data entry, and queries related to enrollment management.
  • Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of web and marketing analytic tools.
Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts, or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Work Schedule & Conditions
  • PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment.
  • Internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position.
  • Work is performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience working with CRM (e.g. Sales Force, Element 451).
  • Experience in graphic or web design.
  • Experience in HTML‑email design.
  • Experience with reporting or querying tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Salary

Hiring salary range is $48,152 - $55,375.

Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full‑time non‑faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education. Should you receive an offer of employment from Lone Star College, the resume submitted in the application process will be utilized to calculate your salary offer.
