Overview

RN - Registered Nurse, CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room). Onsite contract with weekly stipend and base pay details listed below. Starts 8/17/2026 for 13 weeks.

• Weekly stipend: $1,456
• Hourly rate: $22.50
• Base pay: $900 per week
• Shift: Day shift, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

• Unit details: 11 OR rooms; ~30 staff; CVOR specialty with vascular, robotic, and general cases

• Provide Registered Nurse care in the CVOR, including vascular and robotic cases where applicable.
• Support patient care across day shifts; participate in case preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative handoffs as appropriate.
• Collaborate with surgical team, anesthesia, and support staff to maintain patient safety and efficiency.
• Follow unit guidelines, policies, and call requirements. Typical call expectations include periodic on-call shifts; weekend call may be required.
• Adhere to staffing assignments and patient ratios as specified by the unit (typical ratio 1:1 for certain cases).

• RN license in the applicable state
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• CVOR experience required; vascular and robotic case experience preferred
• Ability to work 8- or 10-hour shifts; must be willing to take call
• CNOR is preferred but not required

• Endovascular experience
• Experience with orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, and general cases

• CABG with or without valve repair/replacement
• Pericardial procedures, AAA/endovascular aneurysm repair, ECMO, robotic-assisted surgeries
• Fistula, vascular bypass, endarterectomy, VATs (robotic, laparoscopic, or open)
• Esophagectomy, transplant-related procedures, orthopedic and other specialties as assigned

• Unit policies: attendance, call, weekends/on-call requirements; dress code: RN navy blue scrubs
• Floating: will work in the Surgery Department only
• Typical case load varies; experience across general, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology, podiatry, urology, plastic, pain, or eye surgery
