Operating Room Nurse specialized in Open Heart procedures in Cypress, Texas. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit performing a wide variety of complex cardiac and vascular cases. The nurse will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Days shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

• RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Candidates must have experience with vascular and robotic cases.
• Candidates should be able to work 8- or 10-hour shifts and must be willing to take call.

• Candidates with endovascular experience, moderate sedation experience, and the ability to perform procedures in orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, and general surgery are preferred.

Float rotation may be required, exclusively within the Surgery Department.

The role involves working in a surgical unit with a diverse case load, including cardiac, vascular, and robotic procedures. The candidate must be willing to assist wherever needed and adhere to the units policies and dress code (navy blue scrubs). Call responsibilities include one day per week and one weekend per month, with optional weekend and weekday call shifts.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
