American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience, TNCC certification, and a TX or compact RN license.

• Emergency Department unit with 19 beds
• Day shift and night shift teams staffed with Charge RN, Triage RN, 4 Bedside RNs, HUC, and Tech
• Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
• Uses Philips monitoring equipment
• Charts using Meditech EMR
• 7A-7P shift schedule with rotating weekends required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• Perform emergency care procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
