Role Description

The Fashion Resale Store Director is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Cypress, TX, responsible for overseeing all day-to-day store operations. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring that buying, pricing, merchandising, and sales processes are executed consistently and efficiently. The Store Director leads by example on the sales floor, providing excellent customer service, resolving issues, and fostering a positive, inclusive store culture.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring inventory flow, maintaining visual standards, tracking key performance metrics, and implementing store-level strategies to drive revenue and profitability. The role also collaborates with ownership on local marketing initiatives, community engagement, and continuous improvement of store procedures.

Qualifications
  • 5 yrs+Strong Store Management and retail leadership skills, including staff supervision, scheduling, performance management & strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Commerce and retail operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and basic financial metrics.
  • Proven Sales abilities with a focus on meeting targets, upselling, and driving conversion in a fashion or retail environment.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with a commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive experience for all shoppers and sellers.
  • Experience in Training team members on buying standards, product knowledge, sales techniques, and store policies.
  • Strong interest in fashion resale, and current style trends; prior experience in resale, thrift, or boutique retail is a plus.
  • Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems and willingness to learn new technology and processes.
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends and peak retail periods.
  • An inept ability to grow team members into leaders
  • Ability to run a P & L and achieve sales growth from providing strong direction
  • Accountable to Objectives, Team, and Sales Goals
  • Responsible for ensuring store profitability & strong team dynamics
