Shift Lead

We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate knows how to operate a cash register and product scanner, interacts with customers in a friendly manner, and provides assistance when needed.

• Managing transactions, ensuring pricing is accurate
• Accepting payments and providing receipts
• Bagging purchased goods
• Greeting customers upon entry and exit
• Balancing the cash register
• Scanning goods and verifying pricing and quantities
• Accepting cash, credit or check payments
• Providing change and receipts
• Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps and gift cards
• Processing returns, refunds, and resolving customer complaints
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills and multitasking ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints
• Previous experience is an advantage
