Diesel Mechanic

Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor committed to providing quality fuels, lubricants, and superior service to customers operating heavy equipment, generators, automotive and truck fleets, and more.

• Maintain diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Correct vehicle deficiencies and keep detailed records.
• Perform vehicle maintenance including hydraulics, air brakes, steering and suspension, lighting, electric, diesel engine, air conditioning, fluid levels, oil changes, general repairs and maintenance.
• Recondition and replace parts.
• Weld and cut parts using arc-welding and flame-cutting equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and equipment.
• Complete maintenance logs and work orders.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• High School or equivalent (Preferred).
• ASE Medium-Heavy Truck Certification and/or Diesel Mechanic Certification.
• CDL Hazmat Tanker (a plus).
• PTO Experience (a plus).
• Tanker Experience (a plus).
• PACCAR Davie4 and/or Cummins INSITE experience (a plus).

This position is not eligible for relocation.

• Able to work a rotating schedule (typically 5/2); may have to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
