Shift/Production Supervisor

Shift: Night (6:00pm - 6:00am)

Reports to:

Production Manager

• Manage the activities of the twisting and extrusion department.
• Promote adherence to safety rules, uphold quality standards, and meet production goals.
• Oversee all aspects of the extrusion and twisting departments.
• Work closely with department leads, production and maintenance employees to meet production goals.
• Develop and train new employees and provide opportunities for advancement.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production to address equipment issues and improve efficiency.
• Participate in Kaizen and Continuous Improvement events and activities.
• Monitor attendance and staffing needs as well as performance of the assigned employee.
• Assist with training and evaluating employees.
• Cover shifts and/or work off shift to support plant operations when needed.

• 2+ years supervisor experience in a production role.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings/schematics.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work nights/weekends as needed to support plant operations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• 2 years: supervisor experience in a production role (required)
• 2 years: manuf acturing (required)
