This is a mid-level position. The Acquisition Management Support Specialist supports procurement data management efforts. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Supports procurement data management efforts.
- Contacts vendors for parts quotes.
- Uses local applications for ordering and receiving parts, obtaining contract data for ordered items, and verifying commercial vendor part numbers.
- Tracks procurement receipt of items procured.
- Monitors data via audit reports for accurate input and provides metric data.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Must have five (5) years of experience in Government acquisition support.
- Must have or be able to attain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy and DoD procurement processes a plus.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCEDoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORSMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Also requires a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references, and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
