Military Developer; AIM​/LEAD​/CPM Security Clearance

Overview

Military Courseware Developer (AIM/LEAD/CPM) – 100% onsite at Dahlgren, Virginia. Full‑time position at Astrion supporting the U.S. Navy's Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC). Clearance:
Active Secret. Salary: $85,000 to $95,000+.

• 5 years of experience in adult learning and with AIM, CPM or LEAD tools/modules.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically AIM I/AIM II, CPM/Learning Objects Module (LOM), or LEAD.
• Knowledge and experience in curriculum development for military courses, preferably using authoring tools such as AIM I/II, CPM, LEAD, etc.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing change recommendations and determining their impact on system readiness.
• Experience conducting in‑person training/instruction for a military audience.

• Degree in Adult Education.
• Experience reviewing training schedules.
• Familiarity with Navy Training System Plans, Planning Process Methodology documentation, Navy Business Case Analysis (BCA), Front End Analysis (FEA), and Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA).

• Develop training aids.
• Deliver virtual and/or in‑person training sessions.
• Update and/or convert existing curriculum from authoring tools such as AIM and Content Planning Module (CPM) into the Navy's Learning Engine Authoring Development (LEAD) tool.
• Track all courses currently in transition to a new authority tool.
