Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an onsite subject-matter expert supporting LSOs across the SCSTC enterprise
  • Provide hands-on CPM and LEAD support, including troubleshooting, workflow guidance, and tool instruction
  • Modify existing curriculum in collaboration with LSOs, ensuring compliance with Navy standards and data structures
  • Lead or support curriculum conversion efforts from AIM/CPM to LEAD
  • Develop training aids, job aids, and reference materials to support curriculum developers and instructors
  • Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions on curriculum authoring processes and toolsets
  • Coordinate with SCSTC Headquarters to track progress, milestones, and completion of ongoing course conversions

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience developing or modifying military training curriculum (any branch)
  • Familiarity with government curriculum authoring tools such as AIM I/II, CPM, LOM, or LEAD
  • Ability to develop training aids, job aids, and user support documentation
  • Experience providing training or instructional sessions to end users
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate directly with Government representatives and SCSTC LSOs

Desired:

  • Hands-on proficiency with: CPM, AIM I / AIM II, LOM, LEAD
  • Experience converting or restructuring curriculum between authoring tools (e.g., AIM to CPM to LEAD)
  • Prior experience supporting Navy training commands, NETC processes, or SCSTC learning sites

Education:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Education, Training Technology, or a related field
  • Equivalent SME-level experience in military curriculum development may be acceptable
