Duties
* You will Lead a team of scientists and engineers to perform requirements development, architecture development, evaluation, and assessment of system baselines, leading to successful certification of software for the fleet.
* You will manage projects by developing, executing, and reporting on metrics, consistently delivering on-time and under budget, including proactive risk mitigation, while meeting stringent customer requirements and resource constraints.
* You will ensure technical rigor throughout the entire systems engineering process, maintaining high standards for quality and reliability.
* You will develope and implement long-term engineering strategies, resulting in the successful adoption of new processes which improved cost, schedule, and quality.
* You will communicate both orally and in writing, across all levels of the organization, fostering transparency and collaboration. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition
Functional Area
and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least year experience at the ND-4 (GS-12/13 equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience as a professional Engineer or Scientist maintaining technical awareness and providing technical direction on all facets of the CEC portfolio.
