Junior Systems Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Junior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
CPT is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support the Gun Weapon Systems Division (E30) at NSWC Dahlgren. This role directly supports U.S. Navy gun weapon system development, evaluation, and sustainment programs in a collaborative, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Support systems requirements management and systems engineering design activities for E30 Gun Weapon Systems programs.

* Assist with systems integration engineering and test and evaluation planning and execution.

* Utilize systems engineering software tools to support documentation and requirements traceability.

* Participate in system design reviews, working groups, and technical interchange meetings.

* Prepare technical documentation, requirements specifications, and systems engineering artifacts.

* Support senior engineers in systems performance analysis and trade study activities. Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

* 0–2 years of experience in systems engineering or related technical field.

* Familiarity with systems engineering processes and tools (e.g., SysML, MBSE tools, or equivalent).

* Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Secret clearance (strongly desired); must be eligible to obtain.

* Academic or internship experience with defense or naval systems engineering.

* Familiarity with DoD systems engineering lifecycle processes.

* Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Rhapsody, or similar).
