The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) consists of over 125 personnel and delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/foreign military sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 naval programs and projects within the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and other clients.
Responsibilities- Support the test, evaluation & integration (TE&I) efforts related to configuration management of electromagnetic & sensor systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department (B).
- Generate test procedures, execute tests, and analyze results on radars, communications, and EW systems to improve performance.
- Conduct full-spectrum analysis of radar and EW systems.
- Utilize model & simulation (M&S) programs, such as MATLAB and Python, to perform computations and modeling.
- Support testing and integration of developmental sensors & systems, focusing on early identification of EMI vulnerabilities.
- Heavy focus on M&S of EMI problems.
- Plan tests, develop test procedures, execute tests, analyze test data, and create test reports.
- Must be able to work at NSWC Dahlgren five days per week on average with some travel up to 10%.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with M&S (MATLAB, Python).
- Experience with radio frequency (RF) equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
- Active or interim DoD Secret clearance, and ability to maintain it throughout employment.
- Reports onsite to NSWC Dahlgren, up to full time, depending on client needs.
- Experience in areas of electrical engineering, E3, EMI, and/or EMC.
- Experience with TE&I of Navy radar, communications, and electronic warfare systems.
